Vikingsholm Castle is located at the head of Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe on Hwy 89. It was designed with a Scandinavian style architecture. The castle was built in 1929 by Ms. Lora Knight. It is located one mile down a paved trail. It is not accessible by car.

Tours are available 7 days a week from mid-June until the end of September from 10am to 4pm. All tours are guided and take approximately one-half hour.
